Is Search Engine Optimisation Necessary?

That depends. If you had a restaurant, would it matter to you whether people knew that your restaurant existed? Sure, you could tell them you had a restaurant on an individual basis, but this is a rather slow way to build a business. By the time you had enough customers via word of mouth, you’d be out of business!
